I think providing is the most important. Then planning should come next. Then leading, also matching. You should also demonstrate apprpriate physical techniques.

offering constant supervison. setting and enforcing limits.providing comfort, nurturance, affection and effective praise. leading group activities and assisting children.matching guidance and communication techniques to childrens developmental ages. demonstrate appropiate physical care techiques.the NAEYC needs to be included in you teaching portfolio so it would look good in the portfolio knowing you know alot about young children.

I think it is more important to plan appropriate themes because it is already to be taught to students. Lessons are important because you need to know what to teach the students. Activities are also important because letting students play games helps them better understand the material. Schedules are also important so you can keep track of what time and subject to move on to. routines are important so you can have order in your classroom. Assisting children are important so they can have the material down packed.

    setting and enfocing needed limits
    3. providing comfort, nurturance, affection, and effective praise
    4.demonstrate appropriate physical care techniques
    5.planning appropriate lessons

    1.planning appropriate lessons
should be number one because the "making it up as i go" thing dont work for me.
2.supervision is second because the children meat hurt themselves or others and i will be held responsible.
3.demostrating physical care is next because if you show a child how to act them chances are they will act how you do.
4.setting and enforcing limits are right because the child might start to acting out and someone will nee to let him or her know when enough is enough.
5.providing nurtuace should be next to help the student be safe and be healthy as possible.
6.leading and assistancing is next because the child needs assistance at a certain age.
7.matching techniques to developmental ages should be last because students can always learn on a lower gradde level because they just might not know wat was in that lesson they might have learned somethon new.

    5. Setting and Enforcing Limits
    4. Matching Techniques to Developemental Ages
    3. Supervision

    1. Planning Appropriate Lessons

All of these above are important to the NAEYC, but in my TEACHING PORTFOLIO , I would tell my employer/collegees that this is what I feel! They are important, but I feel like the way I put them will make me a better teacher.

There are seven Early Childhood specific abilities that aren't ranked in importants to me. In my teaching portfolio it would have that not one is more important then the other to me. I believe you must be able to perform all these activities to be a good Early Childhood educator as defined by the NAEYC (The National Association for the Education of Young Children). It is better to be able to do all abilities then to have one that you think is more important

  24. supervision: I think when being a teacher they should have good supervision because what if a child gets hurt bad and the teacher wasnt around that would probably be a bad outlook on them and their parents wouldnt be to happy with them about that.

  41. 1.I think that planning should always be first because you shoild always have a plan for something.
    2. I think that setting up the things you planed and to have things organized.
    3. Providing the items that are needed for the plan that you have.
    4. Offering people to join you so that it won't be so hard to do by yourself.
    5. Leading is for you to lead the people in the group to the right way they should go.
    6. Matching is something that you could do to make sure they are working with people they could get along with.
    7. Demonstrate would be the way you show the aduiance what you and your group did.
